Advocate
Alysha Geyer works as a Child/Youth Advocate at the Windsor-Essex Child/Youth Advocacy Centre (WECYAC).
Alysha is a graduate of the Child and Youth Care program at Fanshawe College. Alysha is a member of the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Care. Alysha has a diverse background in child/youth mental health, working front-line in various community agencies with experience in health care, homeless youth programming, supportive housing, and providing mental health support within schools.
Alysha embodies a trauma-informed approach when supporting children/youth who attended WECYAC. Alysha hopes to continue to provide child/youth with a safe space to start healing.
