Deirdra is the Founder and CEO of Concept Solutions, Public Relations & Event Management
Deirdra holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Public Relations (CPR) from Mohawk College and a Certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from the University of South Florida. Deirdra has worked with business partners on communications projects and initiatives with the Region of Halton, City of Guelph, Heart Niagara, and Niagara Regional Police, as well as event and marketing projects that have taken her to the UK and locations in the United States and Cuba. Many projects that Deirdra has worked on have won awards from the Canadian Public Relations Society. In 2022 Deirdra was the recipient of the Smart Women in Meetings Award for her work in the event industry. Deirdra was also one of the founding members of Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer (OPACC).
Deirdra believes that by being a board member of the Child/Youth Advocacy Centre, her experiences personally and professionally will assist the Centre in achieving the goals of the strategic plan and also allow the Centre to expand on its reach of providing support to children, youth and families of the Windsor/Essex area.
