Jessica is a lawyer with Shibley Righton LLP and her practice is in the areas of Education Law, Labour and Employment and Civil Litigation.
Jessica obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, and previously graduated with a double Bachelor degree in Criminology and Law & Society from York University. Prior to her career as a lawyer, Jessica worked as a fraud investigator in Toronto after she obtained a post-graduate certificate in fraud investigations and forensic accounting. Jessica volunteers with the Ontario Judicial Education Network as a volunteer coach for the high school mock trial tournament and has previously served as a sessional instructor at Windsor Law, teaching the “Advocacy Before Administrative Tribunals” course.
Jessica believes that it is the duty of all community members to provide some type of support to children and youth in our communities who have fallen victims to abuse or violence as they are one of the more vulnerable members of our society and our future.
