As a graduate of the University of Windsor, Sandy began her career in public accounting with a Big 4 firm where she immediately became attracted to a career specializing in Tax.
Sandy has her CPA designation and has completed CPA Canada’s three-part In-Depth Tax Course, Corporate Reorganizations and Advanced International Tax Course. Sandy has taught taxation at the University of Windsor and has been a course Facilitator for CPA Canada’s Income Tax Course for General Practitioners for the past 11 years.
As a tax partner in Grant Thornton’s Domestic Tax practice, Sandy offers 24 years of experience and has dedicated her career to helping families achieve their wealth objectives through tax-efficient planning strategies. Sandy advises privately held businesses including families with modest assets to those with significant wealth. She helps business owners establish their objectives and implement tax strategies tailored to uniquely fit each client’s goals.
Sandy currently serves as WECYAC’s Treasurer.
